In traditional Indian medicine, Lemongrass is used for fighting infectious illness and fever. Modern research has shown it also acts as a sedative on the central nervous system, making it beneficial for treating some nervous system disorders. Lemongrass oil has a sweet, fresh, and lemony aroma with earthy undertones and aside from its many therapeutic uses, is also extensively used as a fragrant component in soaps, detergents, perfumes and other cosmetics.

  • Eases stomach distress, gastritis and gastric ulcers

  • Diffuse, or apply oil to temples to help reduce headache and fever
  • Dilute with carrier oil and rub onto limbs to promote healthy circulation
  • Add a few drops to water or tea to help treat stomach pain or distress, gastritis, gastric ulcers, nausea or diarrhea
  • Diffuse to freshen air and eliminate odor
  • For a natural bug repellent, diffuse, or mix with water to use for bug spray
  • Add 1-2 drops to glass of water or tea to lower cholesterol, or to help fight yeast infections

AROMATIC:  Diffuse 1 to 2 hours up to 3 times daily (3 to 5 drops of essential oil to 100 ml of water).

TOPICAL:  Dilute with carrier oil to avoid skin sensitivity. (3 to 6 drops of essential oil to 1 teaspoon carrier oil recommended for adults).
